Shed Pose Library
Shed_poseLib is a simple but versatile tool to manage poses and share it between animators and projects. The poses are stored in XML format, and distributed in two main repositories, one global and another base in the current Softimage data base.Once we have the poses stored we can create the Poses Sets. The poses sets are the final interface for the animators and doesn't need to be for only one character. They offer a very simplify interface and allow the exchange between scenes, animators and projects.
Feedback, bugs and screen captures using the tool are welcome :) I will try to fix bugs and update it with new features, but I can't promise anything :P Hope you understand. Please read the licensing for more information

Installation:
Download the Addon and install it in the local use or in the workgroup:
Note: My apologies for the poor audio quality. I need a new micro :(
User: Filter for define the user or users show in the list.
Model: Filter to show all the models in the repository, only the models selected in the scene, or all the models in the scene.
Refresh List: refresh and populate the poses list.
Pose List: List of all the poses available base on the filters combination.
Create Pose set: Create a set of poses based on the pose list selection.
<< Remove: Remove a pose from the selected set:
Sync: Show the list of poses based on the pose set selected.
Add >>: Add pose to the selected pose set:
set Columns number: Number of columns for better arrange in the pose set layout.
New Pose: Create a new pose:
Del: Delete the pose selected in the list:
Preferences: Set default preferences for the shed poseLib.
Global Repo Path: Path for a centralized pose repository.
List size in pixels: just a way to resize the size of the pose manager ;)
Control Groups List: String list of names to use when we apply the pose to the best guess. By default they are the GEAR defauld groups.
Pose set
LMB = Apply complete pose: To selected model or best guess
MMB = Apply pose to Selection: Can be apply to several models at the same time.
ALT + LMB = Apply complete pose in percentage, based on Pose % slider values.
ALT + MMB = Apply pose in percentage to selected controls, based on the pose % slider values.
CTRL + LMB = Show pose information.
Shed Selection Sets:
Handy tool to manage selection groups. This tool create groups with a special prefix "selSet_" under the model or scene root if the model is referenced. This tool is included in the shed_poseLib addon.

this tool is only for Softimage.
This is better then ET Anime Store, even though that tool has flat lined. It would be nice if it could store Animation!
Animation store is on the list, but I don't when :P

HI Miquel. Great job !!!! which version of python and softimage did you use ? Your addon run only with gear or the classical riggin system of softimage ? thanks a lot ! Regards Patrick.
Hello Patrick, The tool works with all kind of rigs, But in preferences have preconfigured the names for gear controls groups. You can edit it as you wish ;) enjoy!
